How to skip with a skipping rope!

Equipment: skipping rope

1. You need a skipping rope

2. Pick the skipping rope up

3. hold the skipping rope one in each hand

4. Place the skipping rope behind your feet still holding the handles

5. Swing the skipping rope over your head. When the rope swings over your head and to your feet JUMP!

And thats how you skip!

Summer poem

Summer is hot, Summer is warm, We all go to the beach with all our friends

 we run down onto the soft hot sand with no shoes, We run into the ocean to cool off

 Then we go get Ice-cream but now the suns setting so we go home to bed to dream about our amazing hot summer day.

Hello gloom, Hello cold, I quickly jump into my warm bed with my hot chocolate

 ( but first I make sure I have extra marshmallows ) 

I look out my window the sun is gone and the gloom is starting to come

But then my mum comes in to give me one extra blanket so I can stay warm.

My car trip to Napia

Last year we drove to Napia. It was a 7 HOUR DRIVE!! and it took so long but it was definitely worth it when we got there. When we drove about 4 hours we went onto a mountain and we were on a windy ledge and there was a bunch of trees and bushes around us. It was super stormy and nearly the whole drive was just a storm. It was quite a fun drive until my brother vomited because we got some hot chocolate and then my brother drank it to fast and got car sick and vomited but luckily since we were staying at Napia for a week mum pulled over and got out some of Axtons clothes out and he got changed and she wiped down the car. So we continued driving and while we were driving me, my brother and sister fell asleep. When I woke up I looked out the window and once again we were surrounded by trees and bushes and I thought it looked like a jungle. My favorite part of our drive was going back down the mountain because it was really fun and when we got to Napia I loved it and we had so much fun!
