For this weeks reading we are learning about space! I really like this topic because I really like space and learning about it! I liked unscrambling the words and making this poster. I chose a few facts for each 5 planets. The plants I chose were Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, earth and mars.
It was early in the morning and my older brothers were going out on the waka. They put in the oars, fish bait, fishing rods and a basket to keep the fish in, And right before they were about to leave.. "Can I come too!?" I shouted out to them, but as they always say.. "HAHAHA!! Your to little to come!" I sighed and walked away with my head down. But then I heard someone calling my name, I thought it was my brothers but it was just dad. "Come here son!" He shouted. I just walked over to see what he wanted, But when I got up to him he DISAPPEARED!! well atleast it looked like it. I started to panic but then POOF! he was back! "haha don't be worried son! I was just testing out my new invisibility cloak and time travel machine!" he said, I just grinned, "Dad, Could I maybe borrow the cloak and machine?" I said back slowly, "Um ok son just be careful with it we don't want it to break! I only go it yesterday" he said suspiciously, "Thanks!" I said as I took the stuff and jogged away. I put on the cloak and typed in where I wanted to go, "To the waka I go! Time to show them!!" Suddenly POOF! I was in the waka, Since all these years they said "oh your to little remember??!" But now its time for my revenge!! I rocked around as hard as I could, The waka was rocking and rocking, around and around, My brothers screamed and were holding on tight. I wanted to laugh soooo hard but I had to stay quiet. I saw the oars weren't being used so I lifted them up to make it look like they were floating, "AHHHHH" they screamed! You may think I'm done but NO I have one more thing to do, In the basket.. there was lots of fish in there and we already have a lot of fish back at the island in the small cave soooo, I threw off the fish. They screamed more and more, They started to paddle back to our island as fast as they could! I time traveled back. Around an hour later my brothers were back. They raced to dad and told him everything that happened, I watched and I smiled, Dad looked up at me and smiled back. Maybe now they'll let me on the waka.
This week our reading was about Children's Day and International Woman's Day! We had to try find out the meaning of thw words we dont really know or understand WITHOUT using google straight away! We also got to design our own T-Shirt about Children's Day or Woman's Day! My favorite part was making my T-Shirt.
As one of our tasks in the distance learning was a science experiment! I found this really fun and was my favorite thing to do! It was a different reaction to the video we got. My brother also tried but with less shaving foam and it turned out to be the same reaction as the video.
Rain Oh Rain
THE rain has started to fall..
It seems that the poor clouds crystal necklace has started to break and fall down.
The wind fights the trees because he is mad,
Everything is now soaked and the sound of the rain drumming on the houses is gone,
The clouds have stopped being sad from the crystal necklace breaking.
It's all gone oh rain oh rain when are you coming back again?
